On November 22nd, 2017 Barry Richard Watson passed away peacefully at home. Born November 7th, 1946 in Innisfail, Alberta, Barry left home in 1967 to join the RCMP. Barry’s career in the force spanned 35 years, all served in detachments in B.C.
“Boomer” as he was known to most had a larger than life personality, with a big laugh and an even bigger heart. Boomer was the real thing, a truly genuine person, and everyone who knew him knew he could always be counted on to be forthright and tell it like it was …even if people didn’t always want to hear it!
Barry touched many lives and his family and friends will miss being able to turn to him for leadership and advice. He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Wendy and his children Orland and Tara, his large and caring family and the many wonderful friends that he collected over his lifetime.
