In Loving Memory of Glennis Davidson-White
February 20, 1939 – October 18, 2026
With deep sadness and much love, we celebrate the life of Glennis Davidson-White, whose kindness, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many.
Glennis was born on February 20, 1939, in Regina, Saskatchewan, to Ron and Cora Hart. She grew up with a strong sense of family, community, and service to others, values that guided her throughout her life and became the foundation of the legacy she leaves behind.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bryan White; her children, Tracey, Lindsay, and Bradley; her stepchildren, Ken and Sonya; her brother, Doug Hart, her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Kimberly, Katelyn, Madeline, Jacy, Jack, and Grace; her great-grandchildren, Jayden and Mackenzie and the many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.
Glennis was predeceased by her parents, Ron and Cora Hart; her first husband, Jack Davidson; her brother, Ron Hart; and her beloved grandson, Bryan Wilson, whose memory remained close to her heart.
Known for her warm smile, caring heart, and unwavering support of those she loved, Glennis had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and valued. She was a trusted friend, devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great grandmother, and a constant source of encouragement to all who knew her. Whether offering a listening ear, sharing words of wisdom, or lending a helping hand, she made a lasting difference in the lives around her.
Giving back was an important part of Glennis's life. She volunteered with the Chilliwack Hospice Society, providing comfort and compassion to others during difficult times. She was also a dedicated member of Beta Sigma Phi for many years, forming lifelong friendships and contributing meaningfully to her community.
In her later years, Glennis made her home at The Residence at Orchards Walk Retirement Community, where she formed many dear friendships and enjoyed the companionship, laughter, and support of fellow residents and staff. She was grateful for the caring community she found there, and the friendships she developed became a cherished part of her life.
More than anything, Glennis treasured her family. She found special joy in being a grandmother and took great pride in watching grandchildren grow and build lives of their own. Her love was steady, unconditional, and ever-present, and the memories she created with her grandchildren will be held close for years to come. Whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply spending time together, she made each grandchild feel deeply loved and supported.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love, friendship, generosity, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Glennis's life will be held at a later date.
We take comfort in the many memories she leaves behind and in knowing that her influence will continue through the lives she touched with her kindness, grace, and unwavering love.
Forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
"To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die."
