Our beloved Jacquie
She will be missed We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jacqueline Heather Knapp (nee Foster) at 9:30 PM on August 1, 2026 at the age of 82 in Kamloops, BC after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on July 18, 1944 in Montreal, Quebec. Throughout her life she was stubbornly independent, fiercely loyal, loved wholeheartedly, and had an infectious laugh (iykyk). She built a career out of doing what she loved, helping and healing people. She was an amazing nurse and a terrible patient. She loved to travel, read, collect jewelry, and spend time with loved ones.
She was predeceased by husband Harvey "Tupper" Knapp. She left behind daughter Jillian (Michael), son John (Nancy), partner Grant, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren of her blood and heart. She will be remembered, loved and missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date; details to come. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC.
