Jenny Anna Comazzetto

Jenny Anna Comazzetto passed away peacefully on Aug 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Born in Kamloops, Jenny grew up in Pritchard where her father worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. In later years, Jenny enjoyed reminiscing about her ‘Pritchard’ days.

Jenny is survived by her children Douglas, Harvey (Barbara), Cyndra (Gerry) and Darrell (Sheila), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Always a great cook, many people enjoyed a fine meal at Jenny’s table or at a wedding or community event where she was catering. As well, she painstakingly decorated many memorable wedding cakes.

As life went along, Jenny became an avid, competitive curler and lawn bowler. She was particularly proud to win a gold medal at a Canadian National Senior Games in lawn bowling. When not on the ice or the bowling greens, Jenny could be found wherever a dance was being held. In fact, she drove with friends to dances all over the region. A quiet past time saw her tending the roses in her garden at home.

Jenny’s family wish to thank all of the wonderful staff at Overlander Extended Care Hospital who provided her with many kindnesses along with great comfort and care during her time there.

Honouring Jenny’s wishes, there will be no service.
