She leaves behind her five children, Linda (Bill), Nora (Allen), David (Lynne), Doreen (Robert), Doug (Sue) and many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. Along with her sister's Mazie, Lillian and her brother Dennis (Aileen).
We had many homes over the years, many of which were fixer-uppers. Mom always with lots of hard work and love made them our true home. The house smelled of freshly baked bread and she was always working on her many crafts. She turned her sewing and knitting (many of which she won first prize at the fall fairs) into beautiful dresses, sweaters and afghans to name a few. As recently as this spring I would see her looking off and ask her what she was thinking about, her answer was crocheting with a smile, her beautiful smile.
There will be a service held at Schoenings Funeral Home in Kamloops on October 16 at 1 PM. Then she will be laid to rest at the Chase Cemetery. Followed by a gathering in May to be announced at a later date.
Many sincere thanks to Dr. Trudeau and the care aids that helped us with Mom. It was greatly appreciated.
