So sad to hear of this. He was a good friend to grow thru teenage and young adult years with. R.i.p marty.

Dear Marty, my oldest friend. I could fill a book with the memories and moments we shared. I wish we hadn’t lost touch. In my heart that bond was never broken even though time got in the way. I always hoped we would be reunited, I’m sorry that we didn’t. Forever in my heart.

Marty was the long time partner with my sister Angela Smith until her passing in April 2012. Marty would drop everything to help me move.  He'd be up first thing in the morning rearing to go and always lending a helping hand. I find comfort in the sorrow of losing Marty, my friend, my buddy to knowing Marty & Angela are now together again in the place of no sorrow, pain or grief, may you live on in eternal life together!
