It is with profound sadness that the family of Palmira Torrao announce her peaceful passing on October 12th, 2026, at the age of 99 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years Tony, Palmira leaves behind her daughter Maria Isabel (husband Joe), son Peguerto as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Palmira was known for her resilience, strength and determination. The love she had for her daily long walks, gardening, knitting and crocheting. Palmira loved to bake and share with her many friends whom she loved to have coffee with.
A private burial service will be held at the Lillooet Cemetery with plans for a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
