Patrick Robin Strachan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Strachan on August 23, 2026, at the age of 76.

Patrick will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man whose quiet strength, gentle heart, and wonderful sense of humour brought comfort and joy to everyone who knew him. He worked hard throughout his life, never seeking recognition, but earning the respect and admiration of family, friends, and all who crossed his path through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering character.

Music was one of Patrick's greatest passions. A talented bass player, he found joy in making music and sharing it with others. Whether playing with fellow musicians or simply listening to his favourite songs, music was always a part of who he was.

Patrick's warmth, patience, and gentle spirit touched many lives. He had a way of making people feel welcome, easing difficult moments with a well-timed joke, and showing kindness through simple acts that often spoke louder than words.

Though his absence leaves a profound emptiness, his legacy of love, compassion, and quiet integrity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
