Stanley Keith Waite

It is with heavy hearts that we announce passing of Stanley Keith "Stan" Waite on June 23, 2026 at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Stan was born on February 27, 1962, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Arthur and Annie Rita Waite. Throughout his life, Stan was known for his kindness and his ability to bring a smile to those around him.

Music was one of Stan's greatest passions. A talented drummer, he loved performing and shared many memorable moments playing in a band alongside his younger brother, Art. Whether behind a drum kit or spending time with family and friends, Stan had a gift for making people laugh.

Stan also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found great joy in spending time in nature.

He leaves behind his brothers, Harvey Waite (predeceased by his wife, Deena) and Arthur Waite (Michelle).

Stan will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Rieanna Davey (Brandon), Chelsea Prouse (Micah), Mark Goodwin, Jamie Fenton (Brittany Koly), Dusten Waite (Krissy), Jesse Waite (Audrey), and Tiffany Waite, as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Stan was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Waite and Annie Rita Waite.

He will be remembered for his love of music, his big heart, and his sense of humour. His kindness and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stan's memory to organizations supporting mental health and addiction services.
