Sincere condolences to the LaBrie family. Wendy was a dear friend and a lovely person. We spent much time working together in Girl Guides and when I took over from her for Awards, it was so great to have someone who knew everything and was so willing to help all the time. We shared stories and she told me about Kamloops and her early years - what great conversations we had and bonded over time. I shall never forget her and what a remarkable person she was. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I first met Wendy at the GGC Trefoil meetings. Wendy & Dennis were so very happy that Wendy could come to these meetings as the facility was fully accessible. I always enjoyed spending time with Wendy. She was always happy to have her friends all around her at the Trefoil meetings. Often my husband and I would stop at the Blazers games and shoot the breeze with Dennis & Wendy. She truly was a gentle soul and I will always remember her with great fondness. My condolences to the family. Wendy will be sadly missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts.
