Bernardina “Carling” Salvosa Francisco, 85, of Kalihi passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2024. She was born on May 16, 1939 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She worked over 20+ years as a housekeeper at Princess Kaiulani Hotel and Hilton Hawaiian Village, until her stroke in 1998. She was also a member of the Hotel Local Union 5. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo, and sons, Benjamin and Romeo. She is survived by her son, Michael (Janet), and daughters, Grace (Fabian) Palipti, and Mildred (Celso) Saragena; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Antonia Felicilda, and Dorothy (David) Healey; Care-giver: Veronica Francisco; Foster care: MariCris and Myrna; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at the Glass Mortuary Chapel, Visitation and service at 9am, lunch to follow, and burial at 1pm. Casual Attire and Flowers are welcome.
