I have only now learned of Carol’s passing and want to say how much I loved and admired her. Carol was strong both physically and mentally....a true Marine in every way. I loved her laugh, in fact I can still hear it when I think of her. She may not have been Hawaiian by blood, but she was the true definition of Aloha...giving, kind, and mindful of others. I want to thank her daughter Tina for caring for her so many long, hard years, meeting every need until the bitter end.  Carol is in God’s bowling alley now....probably showing Him her best curve ball and offering an orange cream candy or two with that gleaming twinkle in her eye. A hui hou, Carol...till we meet again!

I have just learned of Carol's passing. Sincere condolences from the members of the Women Marines Association.  “If the Army and the Navy ever looked on Heaven’s Scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.” (3rd stanza of the Marines Hymn). Take comfort in knowing your beloved Marine has left this life to take up her rightful place in Heaven’s detachment.
