February 28, 1933-November 10, 2022 Affectionately known as “Aunty Sister” to those dear to her heart. She passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 89. Born in Honuʻapo, Kaʻu to Reuben Hoʻomalu Cockett & Naomi Abigail (Kauhane) in 1933, she married in 1958 to George K. Aoki Sr. of Honolulu (pre-deceased).
Elma retired as a bookkeeper for Helping Hands Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Gail Ann Tamashiro, Sons: George K. Aoki Jr, & Mark K. Aoki, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Services will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation: 9:30am, Service: 10:30am, Burial to follow at 1:00pm. Casual/ Aloha Attire
