88, of Kaneohe, passed away on September 23, 2024. He was born on November 7, 1935, in Honolulu. He was a retired carpenter with the Navy Public Works Center. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roberta “Kitty” Souza, daughters Laura (Philip) Tefft and Andrea Souza; granddaughters Kayla (Gavin) Petronzi, Sunny Stokes, and Julia Tefft. The family would like to express gratitude to Gene’s caregiver, Emy Billena, for her compassionate support during Gene’s later years
