I'm honored to have met Save. God put him in my life for a short while and I'm thankful that he and his family took me in durring a difficult time in my life. Thank you Jesus.

I wish I could’ve been there today. I will never forget your humor, laughter, wisdom, and love of GOD. You would tell this one joke about two black eyes and thought it was so funny. I never told you but you were the reason I wanted to learn how to play the guitar so badly. I remember watching you play and how amazing I thought you were. I would go home and practice so that whenever I saw you again I could play. The last time we talked, you told me that, “you know who you are.” You never judged or made me feel bad, you always just left me with advice. I wish I could’ve learned more from you before you left this earth. But I know you are up in Heaven looking down on all of us and protecting us. I love and miss you, Chelsea❤️❤️❤️

Im sorry to my loving sister and beautiful neices and nephews for their loss. Thinking of you all in prayer.🙏🏻When i was a little girl, when my sister was dating Save. I thought the world of him. He used to practice and kick sideways with his foot up in the air very high. He reminded me of Bruce Lee! 🥰He always loved boxing growing up.  Over the years, i cherished our sunday church days, we would stay after church while he practiced up on stage. I enjoyed hearing him play the base guitar. His voice was amazing. He would smile so joyfully.  Save always was the life if the crowd he would make us all laugh. He would laugh at his own jokes even when one might have not thought it was funny. He brought joy and smiles. He was a great man with wisdom 
i looked up to him like a brother. Im sadden all my pictures of save are in storage 😔i would have loved to share. I will remember his bag of yellow m&ms. One last thing that i will never forget. Three months before my wedding save had surgery. He and my sister were not going to attend for obvious reasons. To my surprise, he and my sister posed as a Ralph plus one. the best surprise ever was to see him and my sister sitting on the chair three months after his surgery. I felt very special and touched. He blessed my day with a beautiful song he sang. I will cherish the beautiful memories. I have many more buth those were my best memories. Love you Brother, I'm going to miss you Save aka Bruce Lee. 😪🙏🏻

Writing this is hard and brings out so much emotion. Dad, thank you for everything you've done not only for me but especially Esther and your grandkids. Since you've made the journey up to heaven, I've had more clarity on some of the things we discussed or had conversations about that I didn't fully understand at the time. Everyday I see more and more of your personality in the kids and it brings a smile to my face. There's so much more to say, but I'll save it for when we meet again. WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!!!!

Don and I were  “in love” with beautiful Faavesi. He championed and stood by  us through a very hard time.  His presence was uplifting and fun and very encouraging. One of my favorite memories was singing duets with Faavesi. I loved  blending our voices together as he played the guitar. The last time Don and I saw Faavesi and Felipa was when their children brought us to Hawaii to officiate at their anniversary. What a wonderful time we had doing things with them. I have never met better hosts. Their daughters and son and grandchildren  are a testimony to the beauty and blessedness of children raised by parents who love God! So grateful to have known for Faavesi.❤️

About the love of my life and best friend...there is so much to say but it would be a book. His best saying  to me was “don’t worry I got this".  He always did! He made me safe as we went forward together on this path called family with Jesus.  One of the best things he did on the journey was when he made any decisions of life he made them counting the cost and for the future of the generation coming after him. Family meant everything to him. Every day I cry because I miss him, it will stop when I reunite with him. Don’t forget what he taught you and share it with your future generation. He left you with the greatest gift, the love for Christ 💞 Love Felipa Save😊

My papa would work at night, and I would sometimes wake up in the morning finding a note written on a napkin saying “for Allie” with something on top of it, that he had brought home for me from work that night, whether it was an energy drink packet, or candy, or just something cool (anything papa thought was cool, WAS cool ask any of my cousins) I would be so happy to find it.   Every time I left the house even if I was just going to 7/11 on the next block and back home he would say “Be careful”  before I walked out of the door. For some reason I always thought papa would be the one to do all my aunty’s hair dos, like French braids, so one day I asked him to braid my hair because he was so good at it, my mom and grandma were laughing and I said “what? does papa not know how to braid?” and papa was laughing and said “I do”, and they were telling me that it was grandma that was the one to do all the braiding but never the less I still wanted him to braid my hair, and he did; For me. I’m so thankful for everything he has done for me.  I will never forget the day he said he was proud of me and called me his daughter.  My papa loved me so much and I miss him everyday.  And because of my relationship with God, everyday that goes by is a day closer to seeing my papa again.

For the longest time I thought you were Bruce Lee growing up....you were my idol...lol....a dad that was strong, funny, wise, and always laughing.....well mostly. I remember one time I said something that I knew I was going to get in trouble for and I got up and ran straight outside but he never came after me....I walked back in slowly and I hear him cracking up and he said "I have never seen you move that fast". I got away with it that time.  I am so blessed to have you as my dad. I will always remember that day you fought for me spiritually and turned around and showed me what I can only describe as God's love towards me. You were not perfect but you were the perfect father for me. I miss you everyday but I am so grateful. Love you Dad!

The memories that I have of my uncle is that of him always singing. Playing his guitar .and making His funny jokes. 😊And his knowledge that he would always give us.  Yes, sometimes I didn’t want to hear it but I knew deep down, he cared about what would happen to us.❤️The family bond he had was just amazing to see and to be apart of. I am so blessed to have been able to see him again just before he passed. I loved the Conversation we shared last time we saw each other. You will always be My favorite Uncle.

Dad, you were the absolute best earthly father I could have been blessed with. You radiated the love of Christ and displayed obedience and subjection unto His will through the way you built your house; your family. I don’t think there will ever be enough words to describe what you mean to me, so I’ll just say that I am honored to call you dad. When I went through the toughest season of life - separation & divorce - you were right there available to counsel and guide me through it all. You never judged or criticized, your heart was always loving, gentle & kind. Thank you for raising us the way God intended and paving the way for us to do the same with our own children. Today was rough dad. It’s hard knowing that you’re no longer just a phone call away. It breaks my heart to see my kids cry…I try to be strong and encouraging for them, but deep down I just want to fall apart with them. I remember you saying you can’t take love from one and give to another…you had so much love to give and you never ran out of it. Thank you for all the love, encouragement, guidance and most importantly…equipping me, Joe and the kids with what we need to get to where you are. Throughout my life and even in your last days with all your pain you kept asking me “are you happy now?” You we’re so selfless, always thinking about your family and everyone else. You had a “one of a kind” genuine heart…that we will all truly miss. I am happy that you are no longer in pain and that you are with our Heavenly Father. I’m also sad that you are not here physically to share our little triumphs with, but, I know you will be looking down on all of us, cheering us on🥰. Thank you for being an awesome dad, honest teacher and an amazing friend.  It’s only been a month and a half and there’s already been some damage done😉…there’s no turning back now. Until we reunite again, you will always be in my heart! Love you dad!

This wonderful, amazing, family man, a man of God was a 2nd dad to me. He took me in when I was young and took care of me like I was one of his own. I just remember he was always happy, smiling, laughing at his own jokes even when it wasn’t funny sometimes. But he was also there for me when I felt like I had no one back then. He always had my back no matter what, even if I was wrong. He always inspired me with his words of wisdom and Im truly blessed and honored that he wanted me as his daughter. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I miss and love you so much dad!!!

My dad is such a special man. I'm going to miss all his life teaching moments. I'm going to miss spoiling him and seeing him almost everyday. He taught me so much, and was there for me and my son, especially when my husband was away.  He would always tell me the truth, even though it hurt, He loved me so much that he was always honest, because he wanted to see me moving forward and always growing. I admire his communication skills, he was able to reach all types of people because he always came from a place of love. He is my hero, he taught me how to have a personal relationship with God, and there is nothing greater than that. I miss you dad. I love you so much.

My papa was great! He was the greatest person I ever met. I miss when he used to take me and my brothers to the boxing gym, I also miss when he had Bible study with us and used to make funny jokes. He was  a really funny man and always loved to laugh. I’ll miss you Papa!

I reall miss my Papa, I cry every time I hear his name. I miss watching t.v. with Papa in his room. I miss when he would pray for us and teach us about the Bible. I wish I could take a nap with you one more time.

I’ll never forget when most of dads siblings flew to WA to visit my dad. Faavesi was definitely the most memorable Uncle we got to spend time with lol. I remember him always saying “oh my good looks” and being the funniest person in the room. The men and boys slept downstairs while girls and women slept upstairs and I remember always hearing laughter from the dads brothers downstairs forever cracking jokes with each other. I remember my little brother John, the way he looked at Uncle Faavesi - he knew he was free to be his goofy self because he saw this uncle being the LIFE of the party and sharing so much joy through out the house. So thankful we shared that time with Uncle and wish we could have spent more time with him. God bless the whole family as you all continue on your healing journeys. Uncle visited me in my dream last night to remind me that there is still so much joy in life if we open ourselves up to see it. There are still reasons to smile. Love you family. 

Thank you for all the jam sessions and life lessons you blessed me and my family with. Gonna miss your smile and all your jokes. The Bible lessons given to me, cilla and our boys. The boxing lessons and everything you have done for us. We have been blessed to have you in our lives. Love you pops. We will miss you so much but will also continue to do what you have planted in our family. God and family is everything! See you in our dreams and see you when our time comes. Papa would call me Moco and he was funny. He gave me mints, we would eat peanut butter and jelly crackers. I'll miss my papa. 

Papa is a great Papa! He taught me lots of things like boxing and chess. He had the most funniest jokes ever. He is the best. Love you papa.

Uncle Save you will be truly missed. You had the most brightest smiles and funniest jokes in the room. You brought so much love into our family. You were an amazing uncle and I'm truly blessed to have had you as my uncle save. Love you and forever in our hearts
