Geraldine Faye Book, 77, of Kailua, Hawaii, was born May 15, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and passed away on February 10, 2026, at 1:41 pm. Geraldine was beloved and cherished by all who knew her, remembered as a compassionate, hard-working, loyal, and gentle presence in the lives she touched. From her steady kindness to her quiet strength, she leaves a lasting imprint on her family and community.
Geraldine attended Kailua High School and graduated from Kailua High School.
Geraldine worked at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and retired from there. Her dedication and work ethic were a reflection of the care she brought to everything she did.
Geraldine’s greatest joy was her family. She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She loved flowers and leis, and she enjoys quality time with her family—moments that will be remembered and treasured by those closest to her.
Geraldine is survived by her partner, Roger Ines (Geraldine Book); her daughter, Rhonda Book; and her sons, Alex Book and Paul Book.
Visitation will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Services, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on April 14, 2026, at 9:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Services on April 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery will take place at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Services on April 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
