Jason Kekoa Kauweloa, 33, passed away on Friday, September 6th, 2019 in Nanakuli, HI. Jason was born on November 19th, 1985 in Honolulu, HI. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Linda Kauweloa; beloved sons, Kaden Matsudaira and Kawika Kauweloa; siblings, Christopher (Nina) Fontanilla, Aaron (Ivy) Kauweloa, Naomi Kauweloa; four beautiful nieces, Abby, Jordan, Kenzie and Keilani. He also leaves behind, his grandmother, Carol Mae Kauweloa and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jason was a gifted baseball player and played all throughout his childhood. Many of his coaches and teammates would say that Jason was one of the best catchers you could come by. But his one true passion in life was fishing. He was an avid fisherman and spent the last couple years of his life doing what he loved. Jason would often supply local bait shops with lots of fish and tako. Jason is remembered as a kind, loving and caring man, he was always out to help those in need.
Services for Jason will be held Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe. Visitation at 9:00 AM; Service at 10:00 AM; Lunch to follow. Aloha attire. Jason's final resting will be a private family ocean burial.
