Allan L. Valentine

Allan L. Valentine, 56, Kansas City, Kansas passed away July 10, 2018. A visitation will be from 10-11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM, Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas.

Allan was born on December 24, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was raised in Kansas City, KS. He was a graduate of Washington High School.

On the day Allan was born there was a small tremor in Kansas City. Allan was letting the world know that he was here and he was going to have fun. With his winning smile and ability to be charming, he was able to befriend anyone. He loved to be with his friends and share a few laughs. He was generous to a fault. If any of his friends needed a hand; he was right there doing whatever he could to help.

Allan worked in the construction industry as an Explosives Engineer. He used his expertise in explosives to entertain his friends and family with a Fourth of July party and fireworks display every year.

Allan was preceded in passing by his father, Roland, brother, Jim Valentine, paternal grandparents Harry and Opal Pruitt Valentine, and maternal grandparents Joseph Stephenson and Dorothy Swisher Stephenson Clark.

Allan is survived by his mother, Jeanne Valentine; siblings, Doug, Janet and Gary; uncle, Buford; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Allan will be missed; we are blessed to have had him in our lives.
