Bill G. Chronister, 73 of Kansas City, Kansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for all eternity, January 7, 2017. He was born in Alton, MO and lived in Kansas City, Kansas most of his life. He was a member of Assembly of God church.
Bill worked for 34 years driving a semi for Belger Cartage. His skills and talent for hauling and strapping down heavy loads were remarkable, and earned him the nickname "tightline."
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Geraldine M. Chronister, four daughters, Debora, Rebecca, Terri, Sharon and one son, Ronald, nine grandchildren, a brother, Bobby and a sister, Joyce.
A celebration of life will be held at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112, Wednesday, January 11 from 10:00 to 11:00am with services at 11:00am and burial immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Olathe Hospice House at olathehealth.org/donations or text "OMCCF" to 913-562-6820.
