Donald Lee Reynolds

Donald L. Reynolds, 88, passed away at his home in in Kansas City Kansas on February 20, 2025. A visitation for Don will be held Sunday March 16, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after services at the Moose Lodge at 6621 Turner Drive, Kansas City, Kansas 6611 at 3:00 pm.

Don was born on February 9th, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas to Nelson and Iva Reynolds. He graduated from Washington High School in 1955. Don was joined in marriage to Patsy Neugebauer on July 19th 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the love of his life.

He worked for TWA as a mechanic for forty-one years before retiring to Lake of the Ozarks. Don later returned to the Kansas City area due to health issues and to be with his family.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Iva Reynolds, his brother, Lorne who died shortly after birth. His beloved wife, Patsy of 65 years, and a daughter, Kimberly Jo Meisner.

He is survived by children; Ginger (Pete) Marin, Cathy (Mike) Gray. Son; Mike Reynolds and son-in-law; Gene Meisner (all from Kansas City area). Several grandkids; Tricia (Brian) Harness, Joe, Savanah, Matthew Marin, Bret Meisner Amy (Josh) Yokum, Avery, Audrey, and Aiden Reynolds, Justin (Ksee) Gray. Four Great Grandsons: Jalen, Easton, Chase, and Justin. As well as three Great Granddaughters; Ayva, Ayribella, and Aspun. Several brother-in-laws, sister- in- laws and numerous other relatives and friends.

Don was an avid bowler and golfer. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and boating. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a member of the Kansas City Kansas Moose Lodge where he also visited with family and friends.

Burial for Don will be held the following Monday, March 17th at 11:00 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
