I am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I were classmates of Greg. I will always remember his kindness and his sense of humor. May his memory be a blessing. 

To the Epperson family.  I was very saddened to hear about Dr. Epperson.  I met him while he worked in the ER at  St Francis in Topeka.  He had a smile that would light up the entire department.  Although I worked in registration, he always made me feel valuable and many times thanked me for my hard work because third shift registration worked alone with no help, so I valued his recognition.  My sympathy to you all.  

My deepest sympathy to family and friends for the loss of Dr. Epperson. I had the great privilege of working with him at St. Francis in Topeka. Excellent physician! When he first started in the ER I was chatting with him and asked where he was from. He said I wouldn’t know because such a small town in western KS. I said I’m from a small town out there, Kinsley. From there I learned he went to Larned HS and played basketball and I remember watching him play against us in tournament. Such a small world and would’ve never thought our paths would cross again. I knew him as a great Dr. to work with and also as a patient of his and he saved my life when I needed it. God rest his soul that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Prayers and love to his family and friends. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Greg drew people in with his magnetic personality and that laugh of his. When you were with him, it felt you were at the place to be with Greg always reminding you "Isn't this great?!" He loved his life so much to the point of thinking that everybody should be living how he does...marrying an incredible wife and having such a great son and extended family. He always showed me a zest for living the way you want to live and was an incredible friend to have. Love you always, G-Money and love and prayers to all of my extended family and friends of Greg's during this difficult time.

Greg was one of my best friends growing up. Starting in Pawnee Rock all the way through high school. Every memory of you is precious but I will never forget walking with you for our High School graduation. We joked that two Pawnee Rockers were going to be the first to get our diplomas. It was a great day. I always knew you were going to do great things. You will be missed my friend. Prayers to your family and friends. Until we see you again.

I went to elementary and middle school with Greg.  He was a kind, athletic, funny kid who always had a smile on his face.  Greg was destined to do great things.  It seemed that there wasn’t anything he couldn’t achieve.  He was so talented and intelligent.  I was not surprised when I heard he had become a doctor.
One memory I  have of Greg,  is when he and Kent Welch shot a bow and arrow  during PE class in junior high.   It may or may not have hit  someone else.  I just remember Mr. Rausch not being happy.  These boys always kept class interesting.  :)
My heart goes out to the entire Epperson family.    RIP Greg.

I admired Greg and Tim always from little kids we lived in Pawnee Rock and they were so fun. Greg always had a great smile!! Prayers to all!!

Greg I am still in shock you are gone.  As part of the family I like to call my “Pawnee Rock family” you and your brother were at my house all the time as young teenagers and we wouldn’t have it any other way. You were always so sweet and the smartest kid I knew and will always cherish all our Pawnee Rock memories. Prayers for your family and friends in the coming days as we all say goodbye and we will see you again one day.

Brother I have no words to tell you how I feel and how I’m going to feel from here on except I am going to dearly miss you, this definitely wasn’t in my life plan having you gone so early we still had a lot of stuff to do yet bud !! Life isn’t fair nor is it promised and this is a direct result of that, rest assured that I am going to do everything in my power to look after your family, especially your son, you were my best friend and I will see you again but until then know that I love you more than you’ll ever know, Rest In Peace , your brother Tim!!!

Greg played basketball and football for me back in Pawnee Rock.  I was his Science and Math teacher.  The kids loved when I would predict what they would do as their life's work.  For Greg, I told him he would one day be a doctor.  He told me I was really off and he was going to be a lawyer and make big bucks! (L. A. Law was big at the time).  Later he sent me a message saying he had been accepted into medical school.  I was so proud of him and I know he was a loving and caring doctor!  My heart hurts deeply right now.  He was a light in my life and a delight to teach and coach!  You will always be in my memories and my prayers!  Rest in peace, young man.  Coach Rausch

My heart feels your hurt.  Dr. E left a legacy for us all.  He will  be remembered for his caring  spirit, his work ethics and the love he showed us all.  God bless  you  all.  🙏

Greg was always one of my favorite colleagues to work with at St. Francis Hospital Emergency Department in Topeka.    I knew you always had my back during our shifts together and because of that I was very appreciative.  You made our intense and busy days more bearable.
The loss of someone dear to us is never easy and in these moments of loss, words are useless.......I hope and pray for your family that they are able to find joy again after the  sadness and grief dissipate.  In celebration of your life Greg, peace to your family.

Dr.  Epperson was an amazingly talented doctor and a great teacher  in the ER. He was one of my favorite ER doctors at Providence that I enjoyed working with. I am saddened with hearing of his passing, Sending prayers to his family and friends during this time of heartache.
