Harry Buford Valentine

A funeral service for Harry will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, preceded by a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Harry was born February 28th, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a mechanic who could fix almost any engine put in front of him. He proudly served for the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953; He served in Korea during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Valentine and Opal Pruitt Valentine; his brother, Roland Valentine; and two beloved nephews, James Valentine and Allan Valentine. He is survived by his daughter, Lorrie Valentine; his grandson, Aj Valentine; great-grandson, Vincent Valentine; beloved nephews Doug Valentine and Gary Valentine; and niece Janet Valentine. He also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews.
