John Edwin Singleton, Jr., 65, of Mesa, Arizona passed away March 17th at home due to natural causes. A memorial visitation will be held at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112 on Saturday, March 30th from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. with prayers and remembrance from 3:30-4:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital (Attn: Planned Giving Department, Memphis Tennesse).
John was born in Kansas City, MO to John, Sr. and Lucille Singleton December 26, 1947. He spent 26 years on the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department and retired as a sergeant.
John is survived by a brother; Gary, two sons; Brian and Jeff Singleton, a step-son; Luke Spaich, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
