Judith Ann Kaul Callahan

Judith Ann Callahan, 76, Kansas City, Kansas passed away March 16, 2017. A visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 5010 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, Kansas 66104. A funeral will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 20, 2017, also at the church. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or Kansas City Hospice.

Judee was born on October 5, 1940 in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from Topeka High School in 1959. She graduated from nurses training at St. Margaret’s in August, 1963 and went on to be a nurse at St. Margaret’s (now Providence Hospital) specializing in the post-anesthetic department until her retirement.

Judee was a faithful member and volunteer at Trinity Community Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, painting, doing puzzles, volunteering with Cancer Action and watching episodes of NCIS.

Judee was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, Michael H. Callahan, and her brother, Robert Kaul.

She was a wonderful mother to her three children, all of whom survive her, Michelle Callahan (Jessica Facklam), Bill Callahan (Vickie) and Michael Callahan (Shannon). Other survivors include her brother-in-law and sister-in law, Thomas and Wilma Callahan, 5 grandchildren, her dog, Gracie and her beloved grand dogs.
