When she wasn’t cooking or reading, she enjoyed cross stitching, and often provided a cross stitched blanket for babies born to her family and friends. Her love for parties and social gatherings followed her to Texas, as after moving into Palmera Heights Retirement Village, she became their Director of Activities for a while, planning their parties and events.
