Mary Agnes was born January 14, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of James and Mary Kolich. On October 15, 1952, she married Frank Waterworth, a soldier in the U.S. Army. They would have celebrated 60 years together this fall. She worked for Inter Collegiate Press Yearbooks for over 45 years. She loved to travel, always by car, having never flown on an airplane. She particularly liked Lighthouses, the Southwest and even made a trip to Canada. She liked to crochet. Mary loved going to Pomme de Terre Lake; having fun on the water with friends and family, staying at the family cabin or at her sister Barb’s cabin. She loved being a grandmother and was looking forward to the birth of her 8th great-grandchild. Mary was known for baking Poviticia. Over the holidays she would make more than 40 loaves. It always had to be fresh, so it was crazy for a couple of days before Christmas with all of the baking and deliveries. It was nothing to see mom a few days before Christmas wearing shorts, tank top and an apron because the house was so hot.
