

Mildred Mullins, 97, Lenexa, Kansas passed away November 29, 2021. Mildred was born in Tipton, Missouri in 1924 and was raised on a farm nearby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mullins, and two brothers; Dean Kaper of Tipton and Lloyd Kasper of Clinton, Missouri.
Mildred had three daughters and a son: Janet Langenbeck of Kalispel, MT, Darla Berry of Lenexa, KS, and Linda Moore of Tucson, AZ. Her son, Ed Mullins, resides in Tonganoxie, KS. She also had five grandchildren; James Turner, Sheila Turner, Adam Ross, Derek Mullins, and Sean Casey, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mildred married her husband in 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas and resided there until moving to Westchester Village in Lenexa after his death in 2012. They barely crossed the Kansas River bridge in time to avoid the flooding of Quindaro in 1951. Mildred stayed home and raised her children until eventually taking a job at Sears. Her wisdom and friendship will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service for Mildred will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
