Patricia (Patty) Krstolich, our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, surrounded by her both her children.
Born August 10, 1950, to Frederick Sr. and Myrtle (Betty) Dierkens in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended high school at Glennon High, however she graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1968 after her parents moved to Sedalia, MO her senior year. She met the love of her life at a friend’s wedding in October 1974, and after only 2 weeks of dating they were engaged. Jim and Patty married on April 12, 1975, and together they built a quiet life in Kansas City raising their two amazing children. Patty was a very talented artist and enjoyed oil painting and sketching. She was an avid bowler and owned several trophies for bowling over a 200. She was passionate about her love for the Lord and the Kansas City Chiefs! She enjoyed worshiping at Countryside Baptist Church and looked forward to handing out coffee and donuts after the service each Sunday. She loved anything Beatles or Snoopy and would never pass up any opportunity to go fishing! She loved to tell the story about the time she caught the 35 lb channel catfish off the dock in the Ozarks! She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.
Patty was preceded in death by her mother Myrtle (Betty) Dierkens, father Frederick Dierkens Sr., husband James M. Krstolich, sister Linda Dierkens, and brother Frederick Dierkens Jr.
