Patricia D. Stanwix Duran-Diaz

Patricia D. Stanwix Duran-Diaz, 43, passed away December 7, 2013. A visitation will be held Friday, December 13th from 5:00-8:00 PM with funeral service Sunday, December 15th at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help to care for the children of Patricia Stanwix Duran-Diaz.

Patricia was born March 5, 1970 to Robert J. Stanwix and Barbara Bradley. She lived in Tonganoxie and Johnson County. Patricia was a member of the Village West Church. She attended JCCC and Wright’s Business School. Patricia worked for Gentiva Health Services as an Accountant. She loved spending time with her 6 children and family. Patricia will always be remembered for her compassion and willingness to always put others before herself.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert J. Stanwix, Jr. and cousin, Teresa Volonik. She is survived by her parents, Robert J. and Barbara; brothers, Robert W. Stanwix, John (Deb) Stanwix and Jeff (Teresa) Stanwix; children, Angelica Stanwix, Brittany Stanwix, Jamie-Ann Stanwix, Noah Stanwix, Marina Duran-Diaz and Gabryle Duran-Diaz; cousins, Paul Briggs and Kathy Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
