Paul Albert Snyder, aged 87, of Valley Falls, Kansas, previously Tonganoxie, KS, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 30, 2025 at Leavenworth V.A. Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 29, 1938, in Tracy, Missouri to Paul Wesley and Marie Snyder. Paul was the eldest of three children. He grew up in Kansas City, KS and was a 1957 graduate of Rosedale High School.
Paul attended Victoria Tabernacle where he met his wife, Glenna. They married on October 22,1960 and had four children together. Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force, stationed at Kirkland A.F.B. in Albuquerque, NM, until he was honorably discharged. Paul then worked as a truck driver for R.P.S and later Fed Ex for twenty-three years.
Paul always put God first and loved his family and friends. He was a proud lifetime member of the Delaware Mason Lodge. Paul was very outgoing and a jokester. He also was an avid sports fan, always cheering on his favorite teams, the Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Snyder; and son, C.W. Snyder. He is survived by his wife, Glenna Snyder; sister, Carolyn Scarborough; sister-in-law Janet Snyder; children Delain (Jim) Branstetter, Mark (Karen) Snyder, Scott (Shelly) Snyder; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Family, friends, and others are invited to Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 701 N 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112, on Monday, August 4, 2025 with a visitation at 12:00pm and service beginning at 1:00pm, to reminisce and honor the life of Paul A. Snyder.
