Phyllis Joann Schmalz, age 86, of De Soto, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Her husband James Schmalz preceded her in death in July 2019. They had three children, James (Barb) Schmalz, Eddie Schmalz, Deborah Schmalz, One granddaughter Morgan (Kevin) Fotovich, two great-grandchildren Killian and Makenzie Fotovich. She enjoyed bingo and sewing.
