Richard (Dick) Dale Ogden, 65, of Kansas City, KS passed away January 31, 2010, at home surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service is scheduled from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 N. 94th Street Kansas City, KS. Dick was born on January 10, 1945 in Kansas City, KS to Emmitt and Bernidine (Wheeler) Ogden. He worked 31 years as a Maintenance Supervisor for Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority. Dick was a member of the Saddle Sore Riders, he loved horses, and was awarded many trophies and awards for horse riding. He rode in many parades, including the American Royal Parade. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 46 years: Patricia Gail Ogden, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.Survivors include his 3 children: William Ogden (Nychol), Kimberly Heckert (Brian), Timothy Ogden (Kimberly), and one brother: Phillip Ogden.
