Sandra Hutchcraft

Sandra “Sandy” Hutchcraft, 68, of KCK, passed away April 23, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 29th at Chapel Hill-Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 preceding the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Sandra was born April 14, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas to Norman T. and Hazel M. (Lyon) Jennings. A lifelong KC area resident, Sandra went to Washington High School. She worked briefly and then worked at home. Sandy was a member of the First Love Ministries Church and was a devout Christian, praying for others and reading the Word was the cornerstone of her life. She also enjoyed playing board and card games, knitting, gardening and going to the zoo.

Sandy was preceded in passing by her parents, Hazel in 1966 and Norman in 1990, her first husband Lawrence E. Throckmorton in 1992 and her son Matthew Alan Throckmorton in 2012.

She is survived by her son, Larry Throckmorton and his wife Karen of Arkansas; four grandchildren, Christopher Alan Throckmorton, Jessica Ann Holloway and her husband Justin, Sarah Elizabeth Throckmorton and Seth Jacob Throckmorton; as well as eight siblings and other friends and family.
