Sara M. Wilson, 43, Kansas City, Kansas passed away August 25, 2021. A memorial service for Sara will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to KCK Huggers/Special Olympics, 5033 State Ave., Kansas City, KS 66102.
Sara was born May 19, 1978 in Kansas City, KS to Dan and Carol (Troncoso) Wilson. She attended and graduated from Harmon High School. Sara then went on to work for ResCare for 18 years. She participated in Special Olympics with her favorite sport being bowling.
Sara was preceded in passing by her father, Dan Wilson in 2018.
Survivors include her mother, Carol and her significant other, Art; siblings, Jason Wilson and Nicole Duncan; along with a large extended family and many friends.
