Schea was a long-standing believer of Christ and was baptized at an early age at Stranger's Rest Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kansas.
After high school, Schea decided he wanted to serve his country and enlisted into the United States Navy where he proudly served for 20 years reaching the rank of First Class, Petty Officer before embarking upon early retirement in 2017.
Schea received a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Cyber Technology with a nearly 4.0 GPA from the University of Maryland. He pursued a career path which utilized his extensive background in Digital Network Intelligence. He held certifications in both Homeland Security as well as FEMA. Schea had the highest of work ethics.
Schea is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father Floyd Long.
Those who are left to mourn his passing is his doting mother, Delois Long, his daughters, Brianna, Maiyah and Jazmyne, two faithful brothers Stephen and Brandon and loving sister Christina. Also left to cherish his memory are a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A funeral services for Schea will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. Following the funeral services will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
