Having the opportunity to work with Schea for a number of years, he always led by example ensuring whatever task needed to get accomplished was completed. He was the ultimate professional who set the example for the rest of his coworkers - I know I speak for many of your teammates when I say, “you will be missed my friend!”

I worked with Schea for over five years. I will never forget his love for the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as his professionalism and work ethic. Rest in peace KC. You will be missed.

Schea Long was a man of many qualities; he was a leader, a man of integrity, a font of knowledge and experience, and a quiet professional. Schea served his country in many capacities over multiple decades, and brought his best qualities to bear wherever he served. Schea always led from the front, and never shied from speaking truth to those in charge; he believed in fairness and standing up for his people, without exception or compromise. Schea never backed down from a challenge, be it analytical or professional, and was universally recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in his field. Schea had accrued a great deal of knowledge and experience during his military service and after, and freely passed that knowledge onto the next generation of trainees and leaders. Through his efforts, he made his team highly effective and well regarded. Through his tireless work, Schea had many friends, and was universally respected for his capabilities. In spite of this, Schea never bragged about his abilities; he was always humble, and was the embodiment of the quiet professional. He praised publicly and corrected privately, and met every task with a smile and positive attitude. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew him; his actions made the world a better place, and those who knew him were made better for it.

I will miss Schea's phone calls and our great relationship.  We would talk often about everything on the phone and at our family gatherings.  As his Aunt,  Schea was a bright star to me.  He kept me up-to-date about what was going on in his life.  He accomplished so much at a young age.  I know he is Resting In Peace.

Cousin we shared our fair share of text messages, phone calls and video chats.   I’m going to miss your humor,  kindness and laugh.   I know you’re in a better place and I’ll see you again but until then “I’m missing you”.

   In 2 Timothy 4:6-8 Paul said: “My life has reached the point where it must be sacrificed, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have completed the race, I have kept the faith. There is laid up for me a crown, a crown which would never fade.”

Aunt Lois and cousins,
I was truly saddened at the news of the passing of Schea. While I hadn’t seen him for quite some time, I still have very vivid memories of him as a baby and very small toddler when Aunt Lois would bring him to our home.

As a mother now myself, I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling. I pray that you can find peace in the fond memories that you have and that time will grant you the healing of your heart.

Schea was my cousin.  Even though I had not seen you in years  I am saddened by your passing. I remember when you were born, and watched you grow up.. I have so many memories of you and your family growing up. I am praying for strength and comfort for your Mother, Children, and your Brothers. Rest well in the arms of Jesus!



I am saddened to learn of the passing of Schea.  I can only imagine the grief his children, his brothers and sister and his mom    are feeling .  I will never forget the long chats we would have when he came to visit.  

I am so proud of the accomplishments Schea  made with his career choice in Cyber Security.  Schea demonstrated so much love for his mother and children that made me so proud of the man he became.  

No matter where Schea traveled be on the sea, the air or land he was always a Cheifs fan!

I look forward to seeing my nephew in "The New World" to come. 

Schea was a very nice and well-rounded young man. During his initial time in the military we lost contact but he reached out to me a few years prior to him leaving the military when he was still in Bahrain. He told me of his desire to get into cyber security and I was really proud of this decision. It is nice to see how he faced all challenges to make it in this demanding field of work.

Our wonderful heavenly Father promises that he is not forgotten. I'll see him then.

Schea have always been a great addition to his family. Most noted he forever was looking out for his mom, right up too the end. I'm going to miss him. RIH Nephew.🙏❤️

Schea was our gentle giant, quiet but always ready to step up and help out or train our new employees. We shared a love KC sports, though he always out did me in showing his loyalty by wearing in Royals cap all the time. His passing was such a shock to all of us and we will miss him.
