Sharon Kay Bratcher

Born on October 24, 1950, Sharon lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and deep devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. Green and Loraine M. Mureen, and her sisters, Gloria Kindred, Donna Johnson, and Patricia Green.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Nathan Bratcher; her daughter, Brandi Bruns (Adam); and her cherished granddaughters, Ava and Brielle Bruns, all of Kansas City, Kansas.

Sharon was the heart of her family—a kind and gentle soul who loved with every ounce of her being. Her granddaughters were her absolute pride and joy, and she made it a priority to be present for every dance competition, school performance, and milestone in their lives. Her unwavering support and encouragement created memories that will be treasured forever.

She had a gift for connecting with others and truly never met a stranger. Her warmth, sincerity, and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Sharon was a shining light—one that brought comfort, laughter, and love into the lives of so many.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date, when the family has had time to grieve and be together.
