William Edward Brasher

William Edward Brasher was born on November 12, 1945 to the union of William and Addie Brasher. He was the oldest of three children. He was was educated in the St. Louis City School District, graduating from Sumner High School in 1964. Bill was a people person and met no strangers.

He worked several jobs, and enjoyed working with the youth. He later moved from St. Louis to Kansas City, Missouri where he met and married the love of his life, Nietia Lorraine Mock on October 9, 1993. Bill enjoyed many sports; baseball, basketball and football. He would make many trips back to St. Louis to visit loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Addie Lee Brasher, his father, William Andrew Brasher and his sister, Sally Ann Brasher. He leaves to cherish his memory, sister Valeska Brasher, niece, Kimberly Brasher, nephews, Charles Williams and Jerome Brasher, sister-in-law, Vickie Maddox, good friend James Boyer and a host of loving relatives and dear friends.

A graveside service for William will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
