Abe passed away June 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family in Overland Park. He was born June 4, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri. Abe graduated from Central High School and soon after joined the U.S. Army. He fought with honors during the Korean War. Abe worked in the automotive industry for more than 50 years. He often encouraged his business associates, customers and family to “do the right thing.”
Abe’s wife and children were his reason for being. He was preceded in death by his parents Blanche (Jerwick) and Joseph Levine, sister Esther Gallas, and brother Louis Levine. Abe is survived by his wife Suzanne Levine, sister Zelda Cohen, daughters Cindy, Pam (James), Lori, Beth, and Leslie, son David , seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family requests no flowers. A donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
