Andrew "Jack" Ramsey age 98 of Overland Park, Kansas passed away February 27, 2020 at Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas. He was born during the depression on January 24, 1922 in Tuckerman, Arkansas, the son of AJ and Elsie (Boggs) Ramsey. He graduated from Westport High School along side his sweetheart Betty June Cease, who later became is wife, on August 16, 1941. He was in the United States Army during World War II. In his younger years, he was a bellhop at the Bellerive Hotel in Kansas City. His career was in the car business and he opened his own Car Dealership in 1973 called Overland Park AMC Jeep, and retired in 1982. He raised his family in the Hyde Park area. He enjoyed watching Football and had a passion for Genealogy, he even located a bloodline of his that was related to the Dalhousie Castle Family in the United Kingdom. He is survived by his wife, Betty, 4 sons: David Ramsey of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Steve Ramsey of Roeland Park, Kansas, Gary Ramsey of Overland Park, Kansas, and Tim (Wife: Jeannie) Ramsey of Overland Park, Kansas. Four Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by Two Sisters: Melba and June and one great grandchild.
