

Angeline (Stavros) Hines, 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 9, 2011, at Blue River Rehab Center, with her children by her side. Private graveside services were conducted at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Born October 29, 1931, in Lawrence, KS, to John and Nellie (Root) Stavros, Angeline was the third of their four children. She graduated from University High School in Lawrence, and attended college at the University of Kansas. Angeline married Vincent Kelly Hines and they had four children. She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for a law practice in Kansas City. Angeline is survived by her sons, Kevin (Cathy) Hines of Grand Blanc, Michigan; Philip Hines of Durango, Colorado; daughter, Kelly Hines of Kansas City, Missouri; and granddaughters, Emily and Erica Hines, also from Grand Blanc, MI. She is preceded in death by her son, John Brian (June 24, 1959 – August 30, 1962), parents, and siblings. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Blue River Rehab Center and Grace Hospice, for the loving care and kindness they showed Angeline throughout her residency at the center and her final days. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9201 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
