Tony will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. Days spent on the lake fishing with his grandpa and friends were always his favorite. He loved softball and was selected multiple years as and umpire for the World Series of Softball. He was also an exceptional golfer and would probably tell you he was on track for The Masters. Tony loved all things sports especially his Kansas City Chiefs and Royals but most importantly, his KU Jayhawks. He was a Jimmy Buffett fanatic and was always a proud parrot head. His family said they believe he skipped heaven and headed straight for Margaritaville.
Tony was a loving husband , father, son, and brother, but what he will most be remembered for is a friend. Tony was a loyal and devoted friend to many. He had the power to turn strangers into friends almost instantly. He had an infectious energy that drew people in and brought people together. While he was known to be very stubborn, he was selfless and would give someone the shirt off his back if need be. He was the friend that was always there whenever or wherever he was needed. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
