Antoinette Davino

Antoinette Adago Davino, 92, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Garden Terrace of Overland Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 28th, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th, Leawood, KS, with burial following in Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38150.

Antoinette was born November 11, 1923, in Brooklyn, NY. She lived in Mineola, NY, Springhill, FL and Leawood, KS. She was a homemaker and worked in an assembly plant during WWII. Antoinette was a member of Church of the Nativity in Leawood and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Antoinette was preceded in death by her loving husband Mario, her parents, six sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Michael Davino, Palm Bay, FL, two daughters, Marianne Oliva, Leawood, KS and Susan Scotto, Bronxville, NY; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren
