Antonio Solis Calderon

Antonio Solis Calderon of Kansas City MO passed away on August 9, 2016. He was 78. Antonio’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 9:30 AM. The services will be held at St. John Francis Regis Church on 8941 James A. Reed Rd. KCMO. The visitation will occur at 8:30 prior to the services.

Antonio was born in the Philippines on March 20, 1938. He married the love of his life, Cecelia Calderon, on January 28th, 1967. Together they had three children, two daughters and a son. Antonio was the epitome of what a husband, father, brother, godfather, and grandfather should be. Nothing brought more joy to Tony than spending time with his family, especially his four wonderful grandchildren. He also enjoyed horse racing, MU sports, and the Kansas City Royals.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his lovely wife, Cecilia, their three children, Carmela, Maria, and Adrian, and his four grandchildren, Gaby, Josh, Mandy, and Sarah. Pops, we will miss your infectious smile, loving heart, and willingness to help others. We are grateful for the impact you had on countless people and your memory will live on forever.
