Born September 14, 1951 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Arthur and Ernestine Peterson. He was married to Lisa Claus in 1981. He worked beside his father, mother and brother until 1988 at Peterson Garage in Kansas City, Missouri. He became a mechanic/supervisor for Kansas City Public Works and worked there for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with family, watching NASCAR, and being a husband, father and grandfather.
Arlee is survived by his wife Lisa, son Roy (Anna), daughter Robyn (James), and son Richard (Ashley), a sister Rebecca (Charles), brother Russell (Sandi), eight grandkids, nieces, nephews, and his canine companion (Riku).
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother (Stanley) and niece (Christina).

A Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, March 1st at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, March 2nd at 11:00am at the funeral home.
Arlee was most comfortable in jeans in a Carhart t-shirt. Please feel free to dress in casual attire as well.
