Barbara Rose Champion, 85, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away October 7, 2015. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 12 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

Barbara was born July 3, 1930 to Charles and Bertha (Strauss) Stratton.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband George “Tex” Champion and daughter Karen Champion. She is survived by her son Chuck Champion, his wife Patty, and their children Aaron and Katie; daughter Leslie Rose, husband Gary, their children Brandon and Damon, and their grandchildren Emma and Audra; son Jeff Rose, his wife Carolyn, their children Kristen and Cliff, and their grandchildren Caroline, Ben and Eric; son Brian Champion; and daughter Lyn Patterson and her husband Tom.
