Barbara Ann Donahue, 78, Leawood, Kansas passed away September 11, 2013. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. followed immediately by a funeral Mass on Friday, September 13, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Barnabas, PO Box 3200, Springfield, Missouri 65808.
Mrs. Donahue was born December 23, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Bishop Hogan High School and the College of St. Teresa. She was a loving mother, devoted friend, and long time member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She married the love of her life, Richard E. Donahue, in 1956 and they enjoyed marital bliss for 42 years. Barb enjoyed trips to the lake and Easters with the family in Tucson.
She is survived by sons Rick and wife Leslie Donahue, Leawood, Kansas and Jack and wife Nancy Donahue, Overland Park, Kansas; daughters Molly and husband John Van Buskirk, Leawood, Kansas, Katy and husband Jim Jordan, Leawood, Kansas, and Lisa and husband David Galbreath, Leawood, Kansas; and seventeen grandchildren.
