Barbara Rock

Barbara C. Rock, 81, of Gladstone, MO passed away peacefully on January 21, 2013. Visitation from 9-10:30am on Fri., Jan. 25, 2013 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Vivion Rd., KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial 11am on Fri. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO. Interment following at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Barbara was born in Fresno, CA on March 22, 1931. She retired from a job she loved at the KC Municipal Court after 25 years of service. Barbara volunteered for many causes during her life; later giving service to the Bishop Sullivan Center & the Independence Regional Hospital for many years. She loved life, her Lord Jesus Christ, adored her 8 daughters & was madly in love with her “Rock”, the love of her life. Barbara is preceded in death by her dear mother, two brothers, a sister & an infant son, Donald. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Raymond; daughters, Catherine, Helen, Donna, Christine, Naida, Jean, Carol & Karla; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild.
