Bessie Mae Brown, 91 of Kansas City, MO died May 16, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 19 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Ms Bessie was born June 29, 1929 in Haynesville, LA to Willie Randle, Sr. and Annie Lou Hampton Randle. She and her family came to Kansas City 1940. She had been a respite worker for hospice agencies until her retirement.
The last of her generation, Ms Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; five sisters; Willie Lee Cotton, Corrine Randle, Bobbie Walton, Anne Randle and Lillian Kirk and five brothers, Thurman Randle, Willie Randle, Jr., Horace Randle, Jerry Randle and L. C. Randle. Left to cherish her memory are many nieces, nephews, their families and a host of friends.
