Betty Jean Treadway

Betty Jean Treadway passed away December 5, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital with her family present. Betty was born to M.B. and Lura Hill on October 9, 1922 in Parsons, KS. She was the youngest of 4 sisters and 5 brothers. She graduated in 1940 from Parsons High School. Betty married Marvin Treadway on June 7, 1942. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone until 1948. She later moved to Kansas City, MO and began working for AT&T. She retired from AT&T in 1984.

Betty is survived by Marvin, daughter Margo Derry of Overland Park, KS, son Mark of Kansas City, MO, 4 grandchildren Jennifer, Audra, Brian and Joshua, 1 great-grandson Jax and 1 brother Jim Hill of Parsons, KS.

Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10 with visitation following the service at First Presbyterian Church of North Kansas City. Cremation. Condolences to mountmoriahterracepark.com
