

Celebrating the life of Billy Ray Waggerman, we remember a man full of love, laughter and kindness. Bill loved his family and extended family with every breath he took. He was known for making others laugh and for his genuine kindness. Bill retired from General Motors after 28.5 years but also worked for his Aunt Dororthy and Excide Batteries in his younger years and Walmart and Agape’s Grace, Inc. after retirement. He was an active board member for Agape’s Grace, Inc. at the time of his death and a member of the Turtle Club and UAW. Bill was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church when he lived in Kansas City, MO and Drexel United Methodist Church after moving to Louisburg, KS. He also attended Grace Church. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Sandy Waggerman of the home in Louisburg, KS, his daughter Susan Waggerman of Louisburg, KS, son Ray Waggerman and daughter in law Belinda of Louisburg, KS, son Wes Waggerman and daughter in law Trisha of Paola, KS, step daughter Shelly and step son in law Dan Miller, step daughter Angie and step son in law Troy Loethen, as well as 11 grandchildren Anthony III and wife Devin, Rebekah, Isaac, Noah, Isaiah, Gracie, Dylan, Dusty and Sara, Dani, Ashley and Conner and 9 great grandchildren Anthony IV, Justin, Eli, Raelynn, Trey, McKenzie, Kylii, Layla and Maverick. He is survived by his brother Gary Waggerman of Kansas City, MO and sister Norma Waggerman of Overland Park, KS and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lela Waggerman, his parents Eugene and Lorraine Waggerman, and brothers Danny Waggerman, Robert Waggerman and sister Mary Stark and grandson Jake Loethen. Bill gained his angel wings on Thursday, December 17, 2020 with wife Sandy and kids Susan and Wes by his side at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS. His service will be held at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Floral Hills on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11 am at the graveside. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the cancer society or Agape’s Grace, Inc. Peace be with Bill Waggerman as he celebrates in heaven with a host of angels gone before him.
